Samsung’s voice assistant, Bixby, opens his own store Called the Bixby market. Where customers can buy ‘Capsules’ as like Alexa skills, these are voice controls to access the most useful parts of an application. The market is officially open in the US and South Korea, and will act effectively as a place where developers can offer their own tailor-made Bixby services, so that users of Samsung devices are integrated into their devices with Bixby. It has not yet announced whether or when other countries will follow suit. Users can also customize their capsule to a specific need. For example, if you prefer to use Uber or lift, you can select the transport capsule to always dial Uber when you request a Bixby to get a car.
With the launch of the Bixby market, Samsung hopes to get more developers on the Bixby platform and says it plans to unveil later this fall at Samsung’s developer conference in San Jose, CA.
