Sony’s Remote Play App, which enables users to stream games from their PS4, has for quite some time been elite to Sony Xperia cell phones, now Sony says it won’t be. Sony Interactive Entertainment is updating the PlayStation 4 system which now allows Android users to enjoy PS4 games on their mobile screens using remote play.
The owners of PlayStation 4 will be able to use Android devices as a display and controller once this week after Sony updates the system software to version 7.Up until now only Sony Xperia users were able to enjoy remote play. Likewise, the party chat feature has increased the number of users from eight to 16 and will have better communication and audio quality. Sony has also confirmed that the dual-shock 4 controller is now available on Android 10 devices via Bluetooth. For iPhone or iPad users, the Remote Play app has been updated so that they can now display the controller and lock screen orientation at all times. Sony didn’t determine a definite date, however the 7.00 update will arrive at some point “this week.”
