Google Pay study reveals some men are underpaid

Google recently discovered that it paid some men less than women for the same job and that it paid wage adjustments to compensate. Explained this week in an internal audit of pay now public, Google indicates that male level 4 software engineers have received a lower remuneration than women occupying the same position. This situation, combined with other pay differences within the company, led Google to pay salary adjustments of $ 9.7 million to 10,677 employees. Google did not confirm how many of these employees were men who were paid less than women in the company and the company refused to give more details to the press.
